A wedding open day… with a whole lot of heart
Sunday 18 January 2026 is shaping up to be something extra special at Adams Peak.
We’d already planned The 2 Monty’s Charity Wedding Auction, and when the Hunter Valley "Say I Do" Wedding Trail announced their date, everything lined up perfectly. So we’re bringing it all together and hosting our Adams Peak Open Day on the same day - one huge afternoon of happy couples, community spirit and good vibes. Adams Peak is definitely the place to be that day!
And for those bald, bearded fellas who whinge about the Summer heat (yes, I’m looking at you, Monty King)… you’ll just have to suck it up - it’s all for a brilliant cause!
This year we’re proudly supporting the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation, an organisation that means a lot to us and to many local families across the Hunter.
What's an Open Day, you ask?

Our Open Day is perfect for newly engaged couples and for those who’ve already booked and want to bring their loved ones along to get inspired. Wander the venue, chat to talented vendors and soak up ideas for your big day.
Monkey Place Catering will have delicious bites on offer, and Hunter Bar Packages will be pouring wine, beer, bubbles, cocktails and their popular alcoholic slushies.
What's The 2 Monty's Auction?
At 4pm, we’ll pause for two of our favourite big-hearted celebrants, Monty King and Monty Haron "The 2 Montys" to fire up the crowd and run the live Wedding Auction, raising funds for the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.
They’ve teamed up with amazing Newcastle and Hunter vendors to create a fully donated wedding package valued at over $90,000.
It’s simple - you don’t win it, you bid for it! The highest bidder gets their dream wedding, and the money all goes to charity - it's a win win! Or more like... a bid bid!
What's the "Say I Do" Wedding Trail?
Well… it's all about showcasing Hunter Valley wedding venues, but we don’t need to say much about that, because you’ll have already found the perfect wedding venue the moment you arrive at Adams Peak.
Adams Peak Open Day Time: 1pm–5pm
Charity Auction: 4pm
"Say I Do" Wedding Trail: 10am-5pm
Open Day Tickets are free, though please register so we know for numbers.
